look we’ve been over and over this and maybe its because ive just ingested a bunch of caffeine but it tickles me SO much that eddie and venom in the movie have absolutely no connection to spiderman whatsoever. the symbiote doesnt know who peter parker even is. he and eddie share NO common goal over which they gradually bond, venom literally just liked eddie so much that he decided to betray his entire yadda yadda yadda but for real its un fucking believable. hes here entirely for shits n giggles. his only life goal is to fuck around forever with eddie, whom he decided was his soulmate not more than a couple of days after meeting him for the very first time

Listen, yes of course Eddie Brock is an exceptional example of an alien fucker but I need everyone to understand that the symbiote is canonically from a planet where not only does everything reproduce asexually but the even idea of wanting any kind of relationship with a host was considered so insane and devious that the Venom symbiote was sentenced to death for it. And consider how weird a human must be to them. Humans are as much aliens to symbiotes as symbiotes are to humans.

What I’m saying is in terms of being an alien fucker, NOBODY beats the Venom Symbiote.

tired: eddie brock is a monsterfucker

wired: venom is a monsterfucker

You know, I am actually seriously side-eying Cates over this whole thing.

I mean…he brings back Scorn, only to immediately kill her off.

Then he brings back Mary…only to immediately confirm she’s been fridged off-screen.

These are both the only women characters who have “appeared” in Venom 2018 so far.

At all.

And like, it’s especially blatant because the current theme seems to be family?!

Dylan, Eddie’s half-brother, has clearly just been created with the obvious intent of having familial ties and relationships explored.

And yet you have a “granddaughter” and Eddie’s literal already existing sister that he was canonically close to and grew up in a trauma-filled household with just killed off like that?!

Shoved in the fridge out of the way of the plot like nobody’s business?!

What the heck?!
