Something I really appreciate about Dan in the scene at the restaurant is that despite the fact Eddie is his girlfriend’s ex and he just randomly shows up back in her life completely unhinged – he never scolds him

He never says that Eddie is embarrassing them or something along the lines of haha you used to date this loser???he just jumps into doctor mode because here is a fellow human being having a really bad day and is in need of help

girlfriend’s ex jumps in a lobster tank?? Dr Dan is in the house. Eddie’s “mental illness” (quotations because it really just the symbiote being themself) is never treated like an issue or get Dan to mock Eddie. He just wants to help
